When I was sent to this boarding school, I figured that they would follow something like a normal schedule, you know? I didn’t think they would be pushing us to get up before the sun was even up and we’d get early classes nearly every day! I sort of got used to it after a while, that whole early to bed, early to rise thing, but it still wears a girl out. We have to be up early for classes, then chores, and more classes, and meals, sometimes I don’t get to bed because of class work until really late.
I didn’t know I overslept, I really didn’t, at least until the proctor came into my room and slammed my door open. You have no idea how bad it can be to wake up and see a proctor standing over you. I barely had time to squeak before he grabbed me and started wailing on me with a brush he grabbed from the bathroom! I tried to tell him that it wasn’t my fault, since I was up so late, but he just didn’t listen while he spanked my ass black and blue! It was so embarrassing; especially when he made me hold my legs up so he could see the bruises develop when he was done. He made me hold them until the class I missed would have been over, he said to remind me how important it is not to be lazy!
